Journey with Gentle Giants is the perfect shared adventure for families looking to make unforgettable memories together. Certified divers ages 12 and up can experience the thrill of diving alongside whale sharks, manta rays, and other marine life — safely and closely guided by Aquarium staff.
But the experience doesn’t stop there — it’s designed for everyone in the family, divers and non-divers alike. While the divers are in the water, non-diving guests can enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, explore the rest of the world-class Georgia Aquarium, or watch the dive in real time through massive viewing windows in the tunnel and gallery. With interactive exhibits, marine animal encounters, and engaging educational programs, there’s something for every age and interest.

🛏️ Hotel Accommodations
Overnight lodging and hotel stays are not provided.
✈️ Airfare & Transportation
Travel to and from Atlanta, as well as local transportation and parking, are not included.
🍴 Meals & Snacks
Food and beverages are not included, but are available for purchase at the Aquarium’s on-site café.
💵 Taxes & Gratuity
An 8.9% sales tax applies to all tickets. Gratuities for staff are not required but always appreciated.
📸 Photo & Video Package
Professional dive photos and videos are available as an optional add-on and can be purchased on-site.
🎟️ Admission to Nearby Attractions
Admission to the World of Coca-Cola and other area attractions is not included but highly recommended for a full family adventure!
Note: Rates do not include the $200 Booking Fee per person or 3% charge for credit card payments. We appreciate your understanding that we do not inflate the trip costs for all travelers to include credit card fees.
Payment Schedule:
To reserve your spot for the Journey with Gentle Giants experience, a deposit is required for both divers and non-divers.
💳 Deposit Requirements
Divers: A non-refundable deposit of $100 per diver is required to secure your reservation.
Non-Divers (Observers): A non-refundable deposit of $25 per person is required to reserve general admission and observer access.
💰 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due by October 15, 2025 (45 days prior to the dive date).
Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or other approved methods.
Final balance includes general admission, dive fee (for divers), and applicable tax.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are per person and are non refundable. A full refund of payments made to date, minus deposit and a $400 processing fee for cancellations greater than 180 days from departure. If a reservation is canceled within 180 days prior to departure we will refund a trip minus the deposit and a $400 processing fee, ONLY if the trip is full and if you are able to resell your canceled space within the same parameters as the original booking.
For liveaboard trips, additional cancellation fees apply due to the unique booking requirements. Cancellations made more than 12 months before departure will incur an additional 5% fee. Cancellations made between 6 to 12 months before departure will incur an additional 10% fee.
Ray Scuba may alter the payment schedule or cancellation policy based on vendor rules for a particular trip. Please consult the individual trip details to determine a particular trip's cancellation policy and payment deadlines.
If payment is not received within 10 days past the due date, a 10% late fee will be added to the balance owed. If a payment is outstanding for 21 days, the space on the trip will be released and all funds paid will be forfeited.
If you do not sign up with a roommate, we will try to find you one; if we cannot find one, the single person will need to pay the Single Supplement price. Changes to package and cancellation penalties do exist, consult the trip application and wavier.
